Shift: 4x10s, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Weekend Requirements: On-call one day every week, one late shift per week, and one weekend every 5-6 weeks.

Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality care to surgical patients in a fast-paced operating room setting. The RN will ensure patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures, working collaboratively with the surgical team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide immediate assistance as needed.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Administer medications and manage IVs as per protocol.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency.
