LVN / LPN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatrics

Experience: 1 year of outpatient clinic experience required License: Active California License Certifications: BLS, California IV certification Must-Have: Pediatrics experience, including well child checks and pediatric vaccination schedule Description: Local candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience in an outpatient clinic is required. Candidates must hold a valid California nursing license and California IV certification at the time of application. Flu vaccine is mandatory, with no exemptions allowed. The work schedule includes Saturdays, with a rotation of 4-hour shifts from 08:00 to 12:00. Flexibility to float to other clinics as needed is required. No on-call duties are required for this position. References from two supervisors or higher from within the past year are necessary. The ability to work effectively with pediatric patients and their families is essential. Skills required include asthma management, blood glucose monitoring, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring, among others. Candidates must be able to follow infection control protocols and provide quality patient care. Previous experience in pediatrics is preferred. Travelers must be flexible and adapt to varying clinic environments as required.
