o Not Trauma designated – trauma patients transferred to CMC Main after stabilization

o Not a Teaching hospital

o Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit

o Minimum Years of Experience required: 1 year CT experience

· Patient Types/Common Scans:

o All patient population will be served to include - ED, Inpatient, Observation, and Outpatient patients

· Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:

o BLS required

o ARRT-CT required

o NC State Licensure not required

· Skills required:

o Discussed during interview with manager

· Support within the Department:

o Guest Services/Trasport for Inpatient & Observation patients that require transport to the department

o Radiologist access 24/7

· Technology/Equipment:

o EMR: EPIC

o RIS: Epic Radiant

o PACS: Philips iSite

o Department specific Equipment: Siemens

· Floating: Is traveler required to float to other facilities?

o No

· Orientation (facility and unit) :

o NEO

o 2 days departmental

· Scheduling:

o Weekend rotation: None

o Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work on holidays that fall on scheduled shifts

o RTO: Manager approval

o Shift times: varies – shift will be on requisition
