Registered NurseShift: 7a-3:30p, 8hr Days - weekend, holiday and call required, 13 weeksGraduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current NYS RN licenseBLS requiredACLS preferredPreceptorship, charge and leadership abilities preferred for experienced RNsExperienced RN will possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritualMust recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to move patients in a safe mannerMust be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skillsStrong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegateMay be required to assume duties as a charge nurseExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills requiredKnowledge in the use of typical clinical equipment instrumentation utilized in providing a safe and/or aseptic environment in and OR/ASU settingLethal dysrhythmia interpretation skillsOn call required (Response time of 30 minutes)
