Full-time shifts 6:00a-6:00p and 6:00p-6:00a 

Part-time shift is one shift per week Mondays and/or Tuesdays 6:00p-6:00a

Reports to Director of Nursing

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist with daily living activities with other healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional care to our residents. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in promoting patient health and well-being in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide nursing care to residents under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring proper dosages and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Assist in patient assessments and contribute to care plans based on individual resident needs.
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families regarding health management and treatments.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming when needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to promote coordinated resident care and improve outcomes.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Participate in staff meetings, required training sessions, and continuing education to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications:**

• Valid LPN license in Florida.
• Current CPR certification
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting of at least two years in Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living Communities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills.

**Physical Requirements:**

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting and transferring residents as needed.
