Job Details About The Role Working under the direction of the Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our school buildings, grounds and facilities remain safe, secure, clean and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors. Duties Will Include Helping maintain the security of the school premises, including keyholding duties, site opening and closing procedures, and alarm operation. Maintaining the school grounds and outdoor areas, including litter picking, gritting, snow clearance and other routine grounds maintenance tasks. Supporting the set-up and clearing of classrooms, halls and outdoor spaces for school events. Undertaking manual handling duties and moving equipment as required. Assisting with the management of deliveries and site stock. Carrying out basic repairs and maintenance tasks. Assisting with painting, decorating and DIY projects. Conducting routine site inspections. Supporting health and safety checks. Assisting contractors when required. What We’re Looking For You may already have experience of DIY, maintenance, construction, caretaking or property upkeep. However, we are equally keen to hear from applicants seeking an entry-level opportunity who can demonstrate enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to learn.
