Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for neonates and an assigned group of patients, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, perform assessments, interpret data, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, observe effects, and document outcomes accurately.
- Supervise and direct activities of varying levels of nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately and provide guidance as needed.
- Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the health care team; communicate patient status and plan of care clearly.
- Maintain patient and family-centered care, support families, and ensure accurate documentation and adherence to policy, including unit clock-in procedures for Float Pool assignments when applicable.

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Neonatal or NICU nursing experience or demonstrated competency in neonatal care
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work day shifts with 12-hour rotations (36 hours per week)
- Willingness to undertake an 8-week travel assignment starting 07/06/2026
- Ability to work effectively in a NICU environment, follow established protocols, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
