AMPORTS is a leading provider of port-based automotive and logistics services supporting customers across the United States. 

  Summary/Objective

Scan labels and bar codes to enter information pertaining to vehicles.

Essential Functions

·       Usage of scanner (how to enter data).

·       Scanning vehicles for receiving and releasing.

·       Updating unit locations and survey/physical inventory.

·       Laying paperwork, finding lost/missing units

·       Assist other field personnel and aiding supervisors as needed

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct reports.

Work Environment

Outdoors exposed to changing and/or extreme weather conditions (for instance, rain, sun, snow, wind, humidity, etc.)

Physical Demands

Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position often requires overtime.

Travel

This position does not have any travel requirements.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.

Computer Operations

Basic personal computer skills.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Card).
