This role pays $2,991 per week and follows a Days shift with a 4x10 schedule. In this travel Cath Lab Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

Hackensack Meridian Ocean University Medical Center is a 300-plus-bed teaching hospital for southern Monmouth and northern Ocean counties, with heart and vascular care as its strongest suit. Its Harris Heart and Vascular Center was built for procedural volume, running three combined catheterization/vascular labs and a hybrid OR, plus an American College of Cardiology HeartCARE designation. Two robotic platforms anchor the OR, the da Vinci Xi and the Mazor guidance system, used in general, orthopedic, thoracic, and vascular cases. The radiology department spans MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine, and a Primary Stroke Center keeps the neuro side active. Orthopedic joint replacement is a particular strength, carrying Joint Commission accreditation, and the vascular team was an early Ocean County adopter of TCAR. A 40-bed Johnson Rehabilitation Institute sits on campus, and the medical record is Epic.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, rotating roles as assigned
• Operate fluoroscopy imaging equipment and contrast injectors, applying ALARA radiation-safety standards
• Record and monitor hemodynamic data throughout procedures, alerting the team to changes
• Support emergent and STEMI cases when assigned to call, maintaining sterile technique

Travel Cath Lab Tech Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by New Jersey and national regulatory bodies.
