Job Function:

Clean and maintain all building facilities and ensure the proper care and safe operation of all equipment. This position is for a day time cleaning custodian. Yearlong Position.


Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

2. Custodial experience preferred

3. Able to work independently

Minimum General Requirements:

1. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, and occasionally assistance lift and/or move in excess of 30 pounds

2. Subject to a Criminal Records Check as required by Board Policy


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Clean and vacuum all areas, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, gymnasium and offices

2. Maintain buildings and grounds by helping to perform minor repairs

3. Snow maintenance, including light shoveling of sidewalks and walkways

4. Follow directions


5. Participate in summer deep cleaning, painting and floor maintenance

6. Perform all other duties as may be required by administration


BENEFITS

Starting hourly rate $14+/hour
