Additionally, the medical dosimetrist will, on occasion, aid in special procedures and brachytherapy treatment planning. As the program develops, the dosimetrist will also provide training to dosimetrists, physicists, radiation oncologists and affiliate trainees in dosimetry, supports and adheres to BHSF safety and compliance program to include OSHA, HIPAA and the Code of Ethics. Qualifications Degrees: Bachelors. Licenses & Certifications: MDCB Certified Medical Dosimetrist. Additional Qualifications Bachelors degree in a physical science or RTT and a graduate of a formal, JRCERT dosimetry program. Direct dosimetry experience and Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) board-eligible/certified required. For recent dosimetry graduates, CMD certification to be obtained with 12 months of hire date. RTT experience from an accredited radiation therapy technology program is preferred.
