Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Per Diem (PRN)


Location: Columbus, GA


Work Environment: Skilled Nursing / Rehabilitation & Long-Term Care


Schedule: Per Diem / As Needed (Flexible Shifts)


Position Summary: The Per Diem LPN provides direct nursing care to residents, supporting their safety and well-being under the supervision of RNs or physicians. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accurate documentation
• Monitor vital signs and resident responses to care
• Report changes in resident status promptly to the RN or physician
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed
• Supervise and support CNAs during shifts
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
• Complete required documentation before the end of each shift
• Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

• Active Georgia LPN license in good standing
• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Long-term care or rehab experience preferred
• Reliable transportation and ability to accept short-notice shifts

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents throughout shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
