Banking and Financial Services Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join its Banking and Financial Services unit in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in structured finance transactions and securitizations. Candidates must be licensed to practice in their home jurisdiction or be eligible for admission. Duties Represent financial institutions, asset managers, and issuers in structured finance transactions and securitizations. Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents for asset-backed securities issuances and other structured finance arrangements. Prepare, negotiate, review, and analyze transactional legal opinions. Support the team throughout all phases of complex structured finance transactions. Requirements Experience with CLO transactions and related special purpose entity matters. Strong collaborative skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced transactional practice. Detail-oriented and organized with a strong work ethic. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in home jurisdiction or eligible for admission. Skills Experience in structured finance transactions and securitizations. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Benefits Health insurance with optional HSA/FSA.
