Client is seeking an experienced Programmer to develop, enhance, maintain, and support enterprise applications and software solutions that support City departments and business operations.
The selected consultant will be responsible for developing program specifications based on user and business requirements, preparing technical documentation, and performing coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and maintenance activities. The Programmer will collaborate with Systems Analysts, Project Leaders, fellow developers, and end users to deliver reliable and scalable technology solutions while ensuring system performance, maintainability, and compliance with established standards.


The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills, application development experience, problem-solving abilities, and expertise in system design, testing, debugging, and software maintenance.


Experience
• 3+ years of Programming and Application Development experience.
• Experience developing software applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Experience creating program specifications and technical documentation.
• Experience coding, testing, debugging, and implementing application solutions.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing existing applications and software modules.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving application and technical issues.
• Experience supporting enterprise software applications.
• Experience working with relational databases and data management.
• Experience participating in application development projects throughout the SDLC.
• Experience supporting software upgrades, patches, and enhancements.


Skills
• Strong programming and software development skills.

• Experience with data storage and retrieval methodologies.
