Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity is tailored for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants with a passion for school-based practice and a dedication to helping young learners thrive. You’ll work onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, from August 13, 2026 to June 9, 2027, providing essential occupational therapy services within an elementary caseload.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in California
• Previous experience in a school-based setting required
• Confidence working with elementary-aged students
• Ability to work onsite for the full duration of the contract
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Comfortable with general duties relevant to a COTA in a school environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Support students’ participation and success in classroom activities
• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing IEP goals
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt learning environments as needed
• Participate in meetings and contribute to student support teams
