Supplier Quality Engineer

True Axis Recruiting is partnering with a well-established, growing aerospace manufacturing company seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer . What You’ll Do As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in managing supplier quality performance and supporting the organization's Quality Management System. Responsibilities Conduct on-site and remote supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements Develop and maintain supplier quality procedures and audit programs Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Lead supplier corrective actions and resolution of nonconformance issues Review and approve supplier quality documentation Manage supplier qualification and Approved Vendor List activities Support supplier onboarding and new vendor approvals Partner with suppliers to improve quality and delivery performance Support new product introductions by ensuring supplier quality requirements are achieved Participate in internal, customer, and supplier audits Support calibration, document control, and quality system administration Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives Perform additional quality-related projects as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field 3–5+ years of Supplier Quality or Quality Engineering experience Experience working within manufacturing environments Knowledge of AS9100 or comparable quality management systems Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management systems Preferred Qualifications Aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing experience Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing certification Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) Experience managing supplier performance metrics and quality improvement initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr
