Physician Assistant - (orthopedics) - Coral Springs, FL
Job Type: Full Time
Facility:
- Setting: Elective private outpatient surgical practice
- Patient Age Range: 8 years and older
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Approximately 40 hours per week, with varied daily schedules
- Office on-call duties only (no current emergency/night/weekend on-call requirements)
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support to hand surgeons in an outpatient setting
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and assist in minor procedures
- Participate in office on-call duties (no emergency on-call required at this time)
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems
- Engage in continuous self-learning, particularly related to hand and wrist surgery
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
- PA-C certification from an accredited program (Required)
- Active Physician Assistant license in Florida (Required)
- Minimum orthopedic experience required (clinical rotations or in practice)
- Prior experience in hand surgery is highly preferred
- At least 1 year of EMR experience preferred
