Through advanced materials processing and precision manufacturing capabilities, Elmet produces high-performance components for some of the world's most demanding applications.Our Euclid, Ohio facility is focused on operational excellence, equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.We are seeking an experienced Stationary Engineer to join our Maintenance team at our Euclid, Ohio manufacturing facility.The Stationary Engineer will support the safe, reliable operation and maintenance of critical facility and utility systems that keep our manufacturing operations running. This position will monitor, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain systems such as boilers, HVAC equipment, compressed air, pumps, cooling systems, and other mechanical and facility infrastructure.This is a hands-on technical role for an experienced professional who understands industrial utility systems, takes a proactive approach to equipment reliability, and can effectively troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate, monitor, inspect, and maintain boilers, HVAC systems, compressed air systems, pumps, cooling systems, and other facility utility equipment.Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maintain reliable operation of critical plant systems.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-related issues associated with facility and utility equipment.Monitor system pressures, temperatures, operating conditions, and equipment performance to identify potential issues before failures occur.Perform routine inspections, equipment checks, testing, adjustments, and repairs in accordance with established maintenance procedures.Respond to facility and equipment issues, diagnose failures, and complete timely repairs to minimize disruption to manufacturing operations.Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and operating records and support required CMMS documentation.Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and outside contractors on equipment repairs, installations, facility improvements, and reliability initiatives.Follow all applicable OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, environmental requirements, facility safety standards, and required operating practices.What Success Looks LikeSafe and reliable operation of critical facility and utility systemsReduced unplanned downtime and improved equipment reliabilityPreventive maintenance and required inspections completed on scheduleTimely identification and resolution of mechanical and facility issuesConsistent monitoring and documentation of equipment operating conditionsStrong compliance with safety and facility operating proceduresEffective collaboration with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and outside service providersIdeal Candidate ProfilePrevious experience as a Stationary Engineer, Operating Engineer, Facilities Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or similar industrial roleExperience operating and maintaining boilers and other industrial utility systemsStrong mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair skillsWorking knowledge of HVAC, compressed air, pumps, piping, cooling, and related facility systemsAbility to read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical documentationExperience performing preventive and corrective maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environmentStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently troubleshoot equipment and facility issuesExperience with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation preferredStrong commitment to workplace safety, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenanceApplicable stationary engineer, boiler operator, or other required licenses/certifications preferredWhy Join Elmet TechnologiesBenefits starting from day 1, including medical, dental, and vision insuranceHands-on technical role supporting the critical infrastructure of a large manufacturing operationOpportunity to work with a broad range of industrial utility, mechanical, and facility systemsDirect impact on facility reliability, production continuity, and operational performanceWork closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production on equipment and facility improvementsSupport advanced manufacturing serving aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and energy industriesCompetitive compensation, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, tuition assistance, and professional development opportunitiesEqual Employment Opportunity StatementThe Elmet Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a proud federal contractor.
