Shipping and Receiving Supervisor
Automation Personnel Services Inc. is hiring experienced Shipping and Receiving Supervisor for a leading logistics warehouse in Baytown, TX. This candidate will be responsible for inbound/outbound orders, inventory management, storage, and accurate documentation of packaged material for the assigned dock.
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour ScheduleMonday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Shipping and Receiving Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise daily shipping and receiving activities.
- Lead and train warehouse associates, forklift operators, and shipping/receiving clerks.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet customer and production schedules.
- Verify shipping documents, bills of lading, packing lists, and receiving records.
- Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies.
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Communicate with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Enforce OSHA, company safety, and environmental regulations.
- Warehouse and logistics management experience.
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience operating Forklifts.
- Ability to operate equipment safely in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and safety focused.
