Staff Accountant

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Staff Accountant at our Canyon State Academy location in Queen Creek, AZ Pay: Starting $80,000 a year Perks & Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and company-paid Life Insurance within 90 days, and 401k match of up to 6% after 1 year of employment, Paid Time Off that can be used as soon as it accrues, and more! What you will do: As a Staff Accountant you will be responsible for producing, overseeing, and analyzing all necessary financial information and taxes and other filings related to Rite of Passage, Inc, or Rite of Passage ATCS as assigned and Non-Profit schools, if assigned.

To be considered you should:

• Degree in accounting or related field Required
• Previous experience maintaining a general ledger required
• Previous experience with month-end financial close required
• 3-5 years of accounting experience and knowledge
• Knowledge of Great Plains preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
• Good interpersonal skills including the ability to interview potential employees if required
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
• Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
