Job Description Job Description Job Opportunity: Neurohospitalist Our organization is currently in search of a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Neurohospitalist for an inpatient-only role. This position is primarily based at our facility, a 312-bed Level 3 trauma center located in Bristol, Tennessee, which also serves as a primary stroke center. The role will involve some responsibilities at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee, and Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee, both situated approximately 15 miles from Bristol. About Our Health System We are part of a comprehensive health system comprising 21 hospitals that span a 29-county region. Our network includes three tertiary care facilities, 18 community and critical access hospitals, seven cancer centers, 18 urgent care locations, and numerous specialty offices through our employed group, which consists of over 800 physicians and advanced practitioners. Key Responsibilities Manage inpatient stroke cases and general neurology. Provide consultations in the intensive care unit, general medical floor, and emergency room. Interpret routine and prolonged EEGs. Average patient load of 12-15 patients, including consults. Utilize Epic EMR across the health system. Collaborate with physician extenders (NP) for support.
