NP, Nurse Practitioner/PA, Physician Assistant - Electrophysiology

Job Summary

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Electrophysiology team in Longview, TX . This role will support a growing service line by assisting with increased outpatient clinical volume and inpatient hospital rounding . The ideal candidate will have cardiology or electrophysiology experience and be comfortable managing patients across both clinic and hospital settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with outpatient electrophysiology clinic visits , including new patient evaluations and follow-ups
• Support inpatient hospital rounding and management of EP patients
• Evaluate and manage patients with cardiac rhythm disorders
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies including EKGs, labs, and cardiac monitoring
• Provide patient education on procedures, device management, and ongoing care
• Collaborate closely with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, and care teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR

Qualifications

• Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
• Previous cardiology or electrophysiology experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
