About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Director, Associate General Counsel for Ads and AI. This pivotal role involves being the primary legal counsel for the company's AI product portfolio, including in-editor and desktop AI agents, generative tooling, and AI-driven marketing and monetization products. The successful candidate will also be responsible for owning the data-rights and identity frameworks that underpin the business, with a focus on developer data-use architecture, training-data eligibility, and cross-product data flows. The role requires a legal expert with a strong background in AI or machine-learning product counseling, particularly in the areas of training-data rights, model licensing, and user-facing disclosures. The candidate should have a working command of global privacy laws, the ability to draft and negotiate commercial technology agreements, and a proven track record of issuing clear legal positions on complex issues. Applicants for this role at the company should be licensed to practice law and have experience in technology product counseling, either in-house or at a law firm. A background in games, interactive entertainment, or a developer-platform business is a plus, as is experience in mobile advertising or ad tech.
