RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week with 1:4 weekend rotation
• Minimum 3 years Level 1 trauma experience required
• Must be competent in Robotics (DaVinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomies, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, and Ureteroscopies
• Must be comfortable with patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Specializing in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures
• 1:1 patient ratio in operating room setting
• On-call requirement of approximately 1 shift per month from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM for trauma call
• Specialty teams (Neuro, Cards, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho) may require up to 150 hours of call depending on team assignment
• CNOR certification preferred
• Work with equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot
• Epic EMR system experience
• Teal scrubs issued from hospital
• Proof of flu vaccination required
• Cannot request holiday time off
• Limited RTO will be considered
• Must demonstrate flexibility, accountability, timeliness, and teamwork

This is a Level One Trauma Center featuring a 26-bed operating room department that provides comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties. The facility operates as a major medical center offering advanced surgical capabilities including robotics, with expertise in general surgery, GU/GYN, orthopedic trauma, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, and endovascular procedures. The organization emphasizes high-quality patient care and utilizes state-of-the-art medical technology to support complex surgical cases.
