Job Summary
Join our opening team as a service member and become a vital part of creating memorable dining experiences.
MJ's Grill is opening a new location and we are hiring the team that will deliver outstanding food and service to our guests.
We are looking for Servers and Hosts that are ready to get started right away and want to be a part of the opening team!
Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining areas through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Greet and serve guests in a genuine family friendly environment
- Handle manual tasks such as answering the phone, taking orders, delivering top notch service, delivering food and drinks
- Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, storage, and preparation to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks seamlessly in a lively restaurant setting
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly
- A great attitude is the one thing you can bring with you, and that's a great starting point
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices is desirable, serv safe certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role
