Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The role includes preparing the operating room, maintaining aseptic technique, sterilizing and caring for instruments and supplies, positioning and transporting patients, and supporting the surgical team across multiple service lines including general surgery, urology, gynecology, vascular, orthopedics, neurosurgery, robotics, reconstructive plastics, podiatry, and occasional cardiovascular cases.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or active LVN/LPN license required.
• BLS (AHA only) required.
• Experience with sterile technique, instrument handling, and OR setup required.
• Experience with robotics (e.g., XI, DV5, ION) and advanced specialty cases highly preferred.
• EPIC electronic health record experience highly preferred.
• Ability to proficiently scrub at least three specialty areas preferred.
• Minimum two years of surgical technologist experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Robotic surgery experience preferred.
• Experience covering GI cases and on-call responsibilities preferred.
• Familiarity with decontamination, processing, and sterilization policies preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0630-1500.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday for the 0630-1500 shift.
• Work type: Full Time.
