Responsibilities

1. Monitors multiple projects' compliance with contract specifications and Gilbane's Baseline Operations Playbook
2. Assists project personnel with phasing / logistics plans
3. Prepares Critical Path Method (CPM) scenarios for management consideration and incorporates final approach into a complete CPM schedule
4. Evaluates schedules and updates prepared by others and makes recommendations as to their completeness, accuracy, and representation as to project status
5. Communicates with Owner to assure customer satisfaction or implements corrective action when needed
6. Performs schedule and delay analysis and presents recovery recommendations to management
7. Ensures that project teams are aware of and properly responds to risks relative to schedule and delay
8. Provides oversight and notifications to management of any concerns regarding contract notice, delay, and proper documentation of project schedules
9. Participates in project pursuits and prepares fee proposals, RFP responses, presentation content, etc.
10. Accurately documents schedule basis in narrative identifying critical assumptions for internal use, GMP's and Owner documentation
11. Coaches and mentors less experienced scheduling and project team employees in administrative tasks related to scheduling
12. Trains others and makes presentations regarding CPM methods and concepts
13. Conducts monthly schedule project audits
14. Develops or assists in training Project Managers and Superintendents on how to schedule and use scheduling software to manage work in the field
15. Produces project schedule narratives prior to submission to Owner on a monthly basis
16. Leads regular jobsite walks with the project team
17. Supports a positive and inclusive work environment

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 4-12 years relevant experience
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Self sufficient in document control and office software such as Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office
• Self sufficient in scheduling software's, including but not limited to Primavera, Microsoft Project, Touchplan, Hoylu, Netpoint etc.
• Complete understanding of scheduling principals and methodologies to include, Critical path Method, Last Planner, etc.
• Have a thorough understanding of Lean Construction Techniques

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.

For Ohio this ranges from $95,680-$143,520 plus benefits and retirement program.
