MiMo Psychotherapy Group is a boutique private practice of experienced psychotherapists dedicated to providing the highest standard of care based on the latest research. With two Linehan Board Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapists as team leaders, MiMo Psychotherapy Group takes pride in delivering comprehensive DBT to adults, adolescents, families and couples who have difficulty managing their emotions, relationships and behaviors. MiMo Psychotherapy Group in Miami is looking for a licensed clinician (PsyD, PhD, LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) with a strong interest in learning comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy for adolescents and adults. Evidence of experience with higher acuity clients and/or CBT must be provided. If you are interested in learning how to work more effectively with complex patients, feel passionate about providing the highest level of clinical care, and enjoy collaborating with others, you would be a good fit for our DBT consultation team.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Active and unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience providing mental health counseling services to adolescents and adults
• Knowledge and experience with Cognitive Behavior Therapy and preferably some experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients and their families
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a collaborative team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to industry standards and ethical guidelines
• Agree to do 30-hour Foundational DBT training with and join our weekly DBT consultation team that meets Wednesdays from 10-12pm
• Collaborate with a DBT certified therapist for weekly supervision
