Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment including PET/CT, assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements. Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and work closely with Nuclear Medicine Physicians to deliver optimal exams and procedures.


Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or Associate's degree in a related field required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• NMTCB(CNMT) or ARRT(N) primary certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• State of California Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine (CTNM) covering all scopes including venipuncture required.
• Minimum 2 years post-program experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required.
• Experience with PET/CT procedures and radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-primary advanced certifications such as ARRT(CT), NMTCB(PET), or NMTCB(NCT) preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 07:00-19:30.
• Schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week with Saturday availability required.
• May be required to float to other facilities within the region as needed.
