The client applications are web-based, image and workflow-enabled and support a broad range of client activities for both active and retired members./ph3Job Description/h3p Work with client Scrum teams to develop JasperSoft reports for applications being developed by the Scrum teams./pp Attend Scrum Meetings including daily standup meetings, planning meetings, reviews and retrospectives./pp Develop, test and implement JasperSoft reports./pp Develop JasperSoft report standards./pp Convert existing Cognos reports to JasperSoft reports./pp Work with other Software Engineers in identifying and resolving JasperSoft report issues./pp Work with Project Managers to provide estimate of effort for work and progress of work./pp Work with Business Analysts and business users to understand JasperSoft report requirements./pp Work with Quality Assurance and Release Coordinator to transition changes made from development to system test and to production./pp Use incident tracking system JIRA to document changes made and progress./pp Use software version control Mercurial to track code changes./pp Attend status meetings as required/ph3Qualifications/h3pRequired skills:/pp Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent (minimum 5 years experience in Information Technology)/pp Minimum 3 years experience in developing custom reports/pp Minimum 3 years experience in JasperSoft Reports development/pp Minimum 3 years experience using Oracle databases/pp Minimum 3 years experience in writing SQL/pp Minimum 3 years experience using software development methodologies to perform analysis, design, construction and implementation of custom software/ppPreferred skills:/pp Experience using Agile methodology is a plus/pp Experience in writing Java applications is a plus/pp Experience in the Financial/Retirement sector, including administration of retirement systems and/or health insurance is a plus/pp Proven ability to multi-task on concurrent projects/pp Excellent oral and written communication skills/pp Participation in education will be considered a plus/ph3Additional Information/h3p- All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. - All candidates who are authorized to work in US are encouraged to apply. - Candidates must clear the Background check prior to commencing the assignment./p/div
