Receiving Specialist

DescriptionSeeking a Receiving Specialist to support its Supply Chain Operations team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring medical supplies, equipment, and inventory are received accurately and delivered promptly throughout the health system.The Receiving Specialist will be responsible for processing incoming shipments, verifying purchase orders, tracking inventory within the materials management system, and delivering materials to departments across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in an active warehouse and healthcare environment.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesReceive and verify incoming shipments using the MMIS inventory management systemInspect deliveries for accuracy and resolve discrepancies when purchase orders are missing or incorrectLoad, unload, transport, and distribute supplies throughout the health systemDeliver packages and inventory to internal customers in a timely mannerMaintain an organized, clean, and secure receiving and storage areaVerify purchase order and receipt information within the inventory systemAssist with inventory control and supply chain operationsSafely handle materials utilizing pallet jacks and other warehouse equipmentSupport internal departments by ensuring critical supplies are available when neededJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Richmond, VA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
