Accurately discern and document deficiencies identified during inspections. Complete service acknowledgements and inspection reports with proper coding on devices such as laptops, smartphones, and hardcopy. Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule. Make minor repairs and programming changes to inspected systems. Complete assigned inspections on time. Carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs. Assist foreman with the installation of wet, dry, pre‑action, and deluge sprinkler systems. Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high‑lift equipment. Qualifications 2+ years of documented experience in sprinkler systems. Ability to obtain and retain required licenses under national, state, and local codes. Experience with wet, dry, pre‑action, deluge, fire pump, and foam systems. Experience interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, program schematics, and operational manuals. Experience using hand tools and a multi‑meter. Physical ability to carry and move equipment up to 70lbs and work at heights up to 40ft, within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings. Flexibility to work on‑call rotations, nights, and weekends. Strong customer‑service orientation. Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly. Preferred Credentials NICET II certification Backflow Assembly certification Hiring Information Hourly range: $23‑38 (rate determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities). The posted rate reflects the target compensation for this role. Exceptional candidates with unique skills may receive higher compensation.
