The successful candidate will handle all General GI and ERCP cases, working closely with supporting staff in an environment equipped with Olympus advanced endoscopy equipment. This position involves 24-hour call coverage, including nights and weekends, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Schedule & Coverage Details: Coverage needed for two locations (BRMC) each week Monday through Sunday schedule with weekend call coverage Approximately 8-10 hours onsite daily, Monday to Friday Night call includes beeper coverage and 24-hour weekend call Call responsibilities primarily via phone consults, with rare onsite after-hours duties Shift duration: 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM Patient Care Details: Support for OR and in-house Endo nurses Patient age group: Adults, with possible younger patients Patient volume varies; average 5-6 procedures during 24hr call shifts Bed capacity: BRMC (348 beds), HVMC (345 beds) EMR: EPIC system experience preferred Requirements: Board Certification in GI TN License or IMLC accreditation required prior to confirmation Active TN DEA license Certifications: ACLS and BLS Proficient in all General GI and ERCP procedures Experience with Olympus equipment preferred Willing to obtain necessary licensure and privileges within 60-90 days Vaccination exemptions possible with proper medical documentation Compensation & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $4,290.00 Competitive pay packages and weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel reimbursements when applicable Shift & Rate Details: 24-hour shifts at a rate of $4,290.00 per shift Callback rate: $550/hour VHS is an Equal Opportunity Employer (“EEO”)/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/E-Verify Employer and welcomes all to apply #LiveYourLife #VHSCC Benefits Licensure -Certification - Travel and other reimbursements when applicable
