As a Vinyl Fabricator – Shop Laborer , you will learn to use the latest CNC machines and will be responsible for vinyl fabrication/cutting and packaging. (Note: This job does not involve welding of any kind.) You will work with a proven and successful system of order fulfillment, where each order is custom built, in a fast-paced and growing industry. This full-time, year-round, indoor shop position works Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM and Friday 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM (workload permitting). American Vinyl Works is a drug-free workplace. Requirements Qualifications Prior manufacturing, building, or construction experience preferred. Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills. Carpentry-type skills; must be able to accurately read a tape measure to the nearest 1/16th of an inch. Adept in the use of power tools. Fork-lift experience helpful but not necessary. Strong verbal and written communication skills. This position involves bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50-85 pounds on a regular basis.
