PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: No
Credentialing Timeline: 1 week

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Cervical/thoracic/lumbar epidural steroid injections
Facet blocks/RFA
SI joint injections
Joint injections
Spinal cord stimulator trials
Kyphoplasty
Stellate/celiac/lumbar sympathetic/superior hypogastric/ganglion impar/gasserian/occipital nerve blocks

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active NC license required
Board: Board certification preferred (anesthesia or physiatry)
Other Qualifications: Computer literate, EHR proficiency, strong communication skills

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform interventional pain procedures including epidural steroid injections, facet blocks, RFA, SI joint injections, joint injections, spinal cord stimulator trials, kyphoplasty, and nerve blocks.
Manage a high volume of cases (25-30 per day) in an outpatient setting.
Utilize in-office procedure suite with fluoroscopy and RF generator.
Collaborate with support staff including rad tech, nurse, and medical assistant.
Adhere to strict compliance protocols for medication management (low MME doses, drug testing, prescription monitoring).
