Chief Of PoliceHemphill ISD is seeking an experienced law enforcement leader to serve as Chief Of Police. The Chief of Police will provide strategic leadership for district-wide safety and security across three campuses and multiple facilities, ensuring a safe, secure, and supportive environment for students, staff, and visitors.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all Police Department operationsOversee campus safety, security, and emergency responseEnforce federal, state, and local lawCollaborate with district leadership, staff, law enforcement agencies, and community partnersPromote professionalism, accountability, and equitable interactions with studentsDevelop and maintain effective safety and security practices throughout the districtProvide leadership and direction during emergencies and critical incidentsMinimum Qualifications:Valid Texas Driver's LicenseValid Texas Peach Officer LicenseSupervisory experienceAbility to meet all Hemphill ISD employment and district requirementsAbility to successfully pass required medical, psychological, and background checksDemonstrated leadership and management experience in law enforcementApplicants must also complete the required TCOLE Personal History Statement and Authority to Release Information form.
