Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: 3rd Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of one year experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred. License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact. Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an approved equivalent. Must-Have: Excellent customer service, critical thinking, communication, organizational skills, and professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Description: The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population. The role includes essential functions adapted from the Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
