This position is also paying a $1,500 sign-on bonus to be paid in 3 installments; $500 after 30 days of completed employment, $500 after 60 days of completed employment, and $500 after 90 days of completed employment.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with participation in an on-call rotation.Why This Role MattersAs a Maintenance Technician I, you are the foundation of the maintenance team. You support property upkeep, complete routine repairs, and build essential trade skills that prepare you for advancement within multifamily maintenance.What You'll DoProperty Care & Basic MaintenanceMaintain property grounds and common areas.Complete routine service requests and make-ready tasks.Perform paint touch-ups and minor repairs.Replace basic hardware, fixtures, screens, and outlets.Operational SupportAssist with inspections and preventative maintenance.Support seasonal preparation and storm response.Maintain clean work and storage areas.Respond to on-call and emergency service requests.Safety, Tools & ComplianceFollow all company safety protocols.Maintain a basic personal tool kit.Complete required training and compliance courses.Additional DutiesThis role may include additional duties consistent with the position.How You'll Show UpProfessional and respectful with residents and teammates.Eager to learn and develop trade skills.Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.Responsive to supervisor direction and feedback.What We're Looking ForExperience1+ year maintenance or porter experience (multifamily preferred).Beginner-level exposure to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or painting.High School Diploma or GED.SkillsAbility to safely operate hand and basic power tools to complete minor repairs.Understanding chemical safety procedures.Basic computer and mobile literacy and familiarity with work-order systems.Other RequirementsAvailabilityThis position will require availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities is expected.Physical DemandsThis position necessitates regular periods of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching as well as use of hands and arms. The role may require lifting to 50 pounds independently. The ability to respond promptly to both visual and auditory alarms is essential. Specific vision requirements include the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The team member must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet.
