Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Rockwall, TX
Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekends & Holidays as Needed
Pay Rate: $1,700.00 – $1,900.00 per week (Based on Experience)

Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to provide compassionate, high-quality care for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and care for patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards.

• Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition, responding promptly to changes.

• Assist physicians during labor, vaginal deliveries, and emergency obstetric procedures.

• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation while ensuring compliance with hospital policies.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Minimum of 1 year of current Labor & Delivery experience .

• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications.

• Active driver's license required.

Preferred Qualifications

• STABLE certification.

• Previous travel nursing experience.
