Inpatient Board Certified Behavior Analyst - OMC, Jeff Hwy - FT

Job Overview This role provides supervision and direct, one‑to‑one treatment for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other behavioral conditions admitted to the hospital. It ensures continuity of services while inpatient and collaborates with the healthcare team to address each patient’s and family’s needs, promoting communication, academic, social and behavioral skills. Responsibilities Provide direct, therapeutic services via parent skills training, one‑to‑one therapy, and group social skills training. Maintain designated workspaces, organizing, cleaning, and supplying materials. Assess, develop, and monitor progress of patient treatment plans. Supervise ABA Line Technicians and review their performance. Provide personalized at‑home guidance for parents and caregivers. Adapt behaviors and communication for each patient population, ensuring privacy and appropriate introduction. Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate discharge and connect families with community resources. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Qualifications Master’s degree in Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis. At least 1 year of direct patient service experience in a social service, mental health, rehabilitation facility or related allied health setting. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of practice. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to present information clearly to various levels of individuals. Proficient in computer data entry and related software. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Strong interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism. Knowledge of principles of Applied Behavior Analysis applicable to treatment of children with behavioral and developmental concerns. Physical and Environmental Demands Requires light physical work, including occasional lifting up to 20 pounds. The role involves working within a healthcare setting with potential exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous medications or waste.
