Job Responsibilities

• Design Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and create tailored therapy programs that drive them towards their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Employ evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor capabilities, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
• Engage in Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide integrated, comprehensive care
• Empower Patients and Families: Teach therapy techniques that enable patients and their caregivers to support continued progress at home
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment strategies accordingly, ensuring patients remain on the path to success

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development is encouraged and supported

Licensure

• Active OTR/L license is essential
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
