Club Manager

Reports to: District Manager Job Title: Club Manager Position: Full Time / Supervisor / Exempt / Non-Exempt Job Summary Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure a positive member experience and a financially successful club. Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise team members. Ensure member service excellence and a consistently positive customer experience. Directly handle front‑desk duties such as greeting members, conducting gym tours, and resolving member service issues. Provide ongoing support and coaching to team members. Create and maintain a welcoming club image. Coach and counsel staff to meet company performance standards. Oversee prompt opening and closing of the gym. Ensure staff are trained on current marketing promotions. Complete the manager portion of new‑hire onboarding in Paycom. Maintain club staffing during all business hours. Lead self and staff in implementing all company policies and procedures. Order supplies and track inventory. Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, and other departments to prevent misunderstandings. Essential Behavior Requirements Provide exemplary customer service and interactions. Communicate in a timely and effective manner across all levels of the organization. Minimum Qualifications Honesty and a strong work ethic. At least one year of equivalent managerial experience. Strong customer service abilities. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Basic computer proficiency. Physical Demands Stand and walk for at least 75% of each shift. Talk in person or on the phone for at least 75% of each shift. Lift up to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
