Locals enjoy weekly farmers markets in downtown Templeton, farm-to-fork dining, beautiful landscapes for hiking and biking, and beach days just fifteen minutes away at Cambria and Morro Bay.\n Job Summary:\n Responsible for the operation of x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment. Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least three of the modalities listed on a regular basis. This position is represented by SEIU.\n Job Requirements:\n Education and Work Experience:\n \n Associate's Degree in radiologic technology: Required\n Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's): Preferred\n Master's Degree: Preferred\n Three years' technical experience: Preferred\n \n Licenses/Certifications:\n \n Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required\n Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required\n American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: Required\n Must have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography(M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Sonography(S) or Positron Emission Tomography (PET): Required\n ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R): Required\n ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-NMT) or State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RTPET: Required\n \n Facility Specific License/Certifications:\n \n Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required\n \n Essential Functions:\n \n Performs various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography and/or ultrasound examinations consistent with employee's experience. Performs three modalities competently.\n Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Tests defibrillator and checks the integrity of crash cart.
