Quality Control Engineer

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Quality Control Engineer to ensure end-to-end quality for integrated cloud projects on AWS. In this role, you will design and execute test strategies, build automated test frameworks, and define quality metrics across complex distributed systems. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to review architecture, troubleshoot defects, and drive root cause analysis. In AWS's customer-obsessed, data-driven culture, you'll own quality outcomes, continuously improve processes and tooling, and help launch highly reliable, secure, and scalable cloud services.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute quality control plans for integrated AWS cloud projects
Design and maintain automated test frameworks and validation pipelines
Monitor, analyze, and report on project quality metrics and defects
Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to define quality standards
Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions
Review architecture, design, and deployment artifacts for quality and compliance
Support release readiness reviews and go/no-go quality decisions
Document quality processes, test strategies, and best practices
Continuously improve quality tooling, processes, and automation coverage
Mentor teams on quality engineering practices and data-driven decision making
