Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

This is a remote position , but candidates must reside in the Cleveland, OH area .

Responsibilities

Lead development of scalable applications and services
Own platform architecture decisions and technical direction
Mentor engineers and foster a high-performance development culture
Collaborate cross-functionally with product and business teams
Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and system reliability
Drive adoption of modern engineering practices and tools

Qualifications

7+ years of software engineering experience
2+ years in a lead or senior technical role
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Proficiency in modern backend technologies (Java, .NET, Node.js, etc.)
Experience with microservices, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication and leadership skills
