Project Manager, Risk & Governance

IDR is seeking a Project Manager, Risk & Governance to join one of our top clients in the Financial Services industry for an opportunity in New York. Position Overview for the Project Manager, Risk & Governance Support PMO efforts for risk governance, regulatory, and strategic initiatives across multiple workstreams. Coordinate project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and action items to keep stakeholders aligned. Track progress while escalating risks, issues, and blockers as needed to support timely decision-making. Prepare status reports, governance materials, and management updates for leadership consumption. Assist with governance committee activities, including meeting coordination and action tracking. Requirements for the Project Manager, Risk & Governance Strong PMO, project coordination, or delivery management experience with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Demonstrated organizational, communication, and reporting skills, including experience producing executive-ready status updates and dashboards. Experience within Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, Governance, or Financial Services environments is preferred but not essential. Ability to facilitate executive and governance forums, including meeting facilitation, action tracking, and governance documentation. Experience participating in or supporting Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Own Risk and Solvency Assessments (ORSA), internal audits, or similar risk-management activities.
