Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Hospital Pharmacist position is available in the Aztec, NM area, offering a contract-to-hire opportunity with a flexible 7-on/7-off day schedule that aligns well with hospital staff shifts. This role focuses on clinical pharmacy responsibilities within a hospital setting, providing a chance to expand clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders and intravenous (IV) preparations
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
Utilize Cerner pharmacy software for medication management
Work with Pyxis dispensing cabinets to ensure accurate medication distribution
Collaborate with healthcare providers to promote optimal patient care

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid New Mexico pharmacist license
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment
Proficiency with Cerner pharmacy systems
Comfortable working a 7-on/7-off schedule with flexibility as needed
Available for an immediate start

This position is offered initially as a 13-week contract with the potential for permanent hire.
