We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Evening Shift Lead to oversee daily operations during the evening hours at our bustling restaurant. As the Evening Shift Lead, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food quality and safety, maintaining inventory control, and providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all evening shift activities, ensuring smooth restaurant operations from food prep to service completion
• Lead, motivate, and train team members in food preparation, POS system operation and customer service standards
• Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper handling of food and beverages to meet health regulations
• Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and assist with ordering supplies to prevent shortages or waste
• Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile end-of-shift reports
• Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and feedback, and assist with interviewing and onboarding new team members
• Ensure compliance with all restaurant policies, safety procedures, and quality standards while fostering a positive team environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management, with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations
• Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
• Familiarity with POS systems; ability to handle cash transactions efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety management practices, inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage conflict professionally
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food production, shift management, and staff training
• Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
