Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN in Critical Care for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role involves working in a clinical environment and requires a highly skilled clinician to coordinate and implement patient care, ensuring quality service in the assigned units.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Critical Care - Travel

  • Obtain and record initial assessments and establish priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
  • Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
  • Develop and implement measurable individualized care plans within established time frames
  • Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretations of patient outcomes
  • Participate in patient and significant other's health education and discharge planning
  • Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
  • Evaluate the care plan and modify based on evaluations
  • Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
  • Utilize effective communication strategies resulting in intended outcomes
  • Delegate unit work assignments appropriately
  • Coordinate team assignments and make adjustments based on patient and unit needs
  • Follow up on delegated patient care tasks for quality and completeness

Requirements of the RN - Critical Care - Travel

  • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
  • BLS, ACLS, and TNCC Certification required
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current knowledge and skills pertinent to age/type of patient population served
  • Clear and concise communication appropriate to developmental age of patient
