You will have an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to modelling and manufacturing drawing pertaining to Electrical Switchgear.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Engineering Manager, the ideal candidate's roles and responsibilities will include the following tasks as well as other pertinent tasks as assigned by Organization leadership.Support for Senior Engineer staff for project specific requirements for Low Voltage Assemblies (LVA).Generate Solid work models and drawings as required for each project/site requirementsPerform initial setup of projects on ERP system IFS.Load production systems with material requirements from approved drawingsCompile Technical Drawing Submittals for review by Engineers prior to issuing to the customer.Organize project material for agreed to site schedule and keep rolling progress reportEstablish and reinforce document control for each project.Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to evaluate design, focusing on improving performance, overall design, quality, and safety.Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and AbilitiesPossess computer proficiency including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and databases such as AccessDisplay a proactive flexible approach to working within a team environmentProficient in 3D drawing packages (Solid Works experience preferable)Ability to self-manage, be self-motivated and deliver to project milestonesInnovative problem-solving skillsProfessional verbal and written communicationEducationBachelor's (Preferred)Two-year degree in engineering related field (Minimum)Our Core Principles: Safety, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Diversity & Inclusion.Our Strategic Priorities: Customer Focus, Operational Excellence, High-Performance Culture, Innovation, Financial Strength.Our Behaviors: Own It, Act With Urgency, Foster a Customer-First Mindset, Think Big and Execute, Lead by Example, Drive Continuous Improvement, Learn and Seek Out Development, Promote Clear and Transparent Communication.Vertiv is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
